What we do not take
Refused outright
Paint and solvents, Chemicals and pesticides, Propane tanks, Asbestos, Ammunition, Medical waste. Clark County and Metro both run free household hazardous waste days and we point you to the next one. If we find these on arrival we leave them and adjust the price.
Quoted by weight, not volume
Concrete, Dirt and sod, Roofing shingles, Tile and brick, Rock and gravel. Stations charge these by the ton, so a volume price would be wrong in one direction or the other. Send a photo and we quote within 10 minutes, Mon-Sat 7:00am to 7:00pm.
Conditions we turn down
These come from the individual service pages and are the honest edge of what one truck and two people can do.
- Household chemicals, fuel and propane; those go to a county hazardous waste day
- Concrete, dirt, rock and roofing, which are quoted by weight instead
- Regulated, medical or lab waste
- Anything needing a licensed abatement crew, including asbestos and lead
- Biohazard cleanup, needles or animal waste; we can refer a certified company
- Property under an active tenant claim until the hold period ends
- Items with active pest infestation
- Furniture soaked in chemicals or fuel
- Appliances still connected to gas or water; disconnect first or ask us about a plumber
- Commercial refrigeration units over 300 lb
- Bed bug infested mattresses without a bag; we can bring one for $15
- Hard drives you need certified destroyed; we can refer a shredder
- Loose lithium batteries, which have to go to a battery drop-off separately
- Tubs still wired or plumbed; have an electrician disconnect first
- Inground concrete spas
- Dirt, sod, rock and gravel, which are quoted by weight instead
- Stumps still in the ground
- Anything still growing; we haul what is already cut
- Asbestos, lead paint chips, treated wood ash
- Concrete, dirt, roofing, tile by volume; ask for a quote by weight
- Anything load bearing or holding a roof up, which needs a licensed demolition contractor
