What we usually find
Most construction debris removal calls in Vancouver, WA and Portland, OR are the tail end of a small remodel: a bathroom gutted to the studs with the drywall and vanity stacked in the garage, carpet and pad pulled from a 1980s split-level, cedar fence panels flattened by a winter windstorm, or the boards off a rotted deck piled by the side gate. On new builds it is the pallets and packing the builder left behind.
The pile is usually loose, often wet and heavier than it looks. We haul it away as it sits.
What it costs
Debris is priced by the truck plus $50 per quarter truck. A quarter truck of drywall, trim and old flooring is $189 plus $50, so $239 booked online. A half truck is $369 plus $100, $469. A full 16 cubic yard truck is $739 plus $200, $939. Phone prices are $20 higher at each step: $209, $389 and $759 before the debris fee.
The size is decided in your driveway, not on the phone. We look at the pile, tell you the tier, and you agree before anything goes on the truck.
What pushes a load up a tier is bulk, not weight. Full sheets of drywall, long lumber and doors left whole take more room than the same material broken down. Heavy material is the one exception; send a photo when you book.
How the visit goes
We book a 2-hour window and bring the truck, bags, a dolly and a tarp. You do not need to bag, stack, sort or carry anything. Point at the pile, tell us about anything sharp or anything from the do-not-take list, and keep the path clear.
If the pile is outside, you do not need to be home for the pickup. Upload up to 5 photos when you book, we confirm the tier by phone before loading, and we sweep up when we are done.
Where it goes
We sort before the disposal run: scrap metal, fence hardware and pipe come off first for recycling. Doors, cabinets and fixtures still in one piece go to donation when a reuse store will take them.
The rest goes to the transfer station, and the tip fee is already inside the price. Washington debris goes to Central Transfer and Recycling at $118.65 a ton, or to the Washougal Transfer Station for Camas and Washougal jobs. If an old TV or monitor turns up in the remodel pile, WA E-Cycle takes it at no charge. Oregon loads go to Metro Central or Metro South at $176.70 a ton, where mattresses are free up to 4 per trip and electronics up to 7, and we pass that on.
Debris, teardown and yard waste
This page is for debris that is already down. If the deck, fence or shed is still standing, that is deck, fence, shed and flooring teardown: we take it apart, haul it and price it by the debris it makes. If the pile is only green waste, that is yard waste and storm debris removal at $199 a quarter truck, because clean green goes to the compost yard for less. One fence panel in the brush pile makes it a debris load, so keep the two apart. Contractors who fill a truck every week do better on a commercial account.
Before you book
Do I need to bag or stack it first? No. Loose piles are most of what we load. Broken-down material packs tighter and can land you a tier lower.
Can nails, screws and hangers stay in the lumber? Yes. Fence boards, deck boards and framing go as they are, hardware and all. Treated lumber is fine too; only the ash from burning it is declined.
How soon can you come? We book 2-hour windows up to 7 days out with a 2-hour lead time. The next open window is on the booking page with the price beside it; same-day shows there only when a window is actually open.

Questions
Why is heavy material quoted separately?
Stations charge by weight. A quarter truck of concrete can weigh what a full truck of furniture weighs; quoting by weight keeps it fair.
Do you take yard waste?
Yes, priced lower when it is clean and separate.
